Origins: A 4-week series on the beginning of man and the eternal God.

• Sermon Text: Genesis 1, 3, 11, 12:1-3

• Synopsis: We all love a good origin story. Whether it’s Peter Parker as Spider-Man, Eleven in Stranger Things, or Harry Potter, we all love to hear stories about how things, people (fictitious or real), and worlds came into being. In this series, we will walk through the most important origin stories. The book of Genesis serves as a starting point for the story of scripture. It outlines not only how things came to be, but the brokenness of the world, what God has promised to do to fix the problem, and outlines who the people of God are. As we navigate these things, students will find that they have a better understanding of the story of God and how their story fits inside the greater narrative.
